PASSION MINISTRIES

Rana and Simie Samuel At the time of marriage, Rana was working as a manager at Nike. He also used to do side business of car repair and selling. He resigned from there to get better job as a manager of Denim company, but when he saw the mission work he left his job and joined the mission. Rana has completed Masters in Ministries from Cincinnati Bible College; he has a bachelor’s degree in commerce. He is involved in Planting Churches, Evangelism which is the most important phase of our work and also some music ministry. By the grace of God Rana was able to do Technical camps in which Motorcycle, scooter, mopeds are repaired; this is basically a tool for evangelism. Simie has completed her medical studies. Simie will be working through medical camps in the remote villages. Simie has a passion for speaking she speaks in youth and women’s seminars. She plans to work with the poor and disowned children in India. Simie has started a young mothers fellowship in which the young mothers get a time to get together and interacting. This program also helps them grow spiritually. She is also doing Cancer outreach, which is focused on the women.

List of the work Samuels are involved-

1. Evangelism and Church Planting- The main emphasis of our work is evangelism and Church planting. We have a goal to plant one new Church every year but God always blesses with much more.

2. Technical Camps- These, are free two wheeler repair and servicing camps. In India it is illegal to do evangelism but God helped us to do evangelism in a unique way. We are holding camps in several different places and lots of people come to get their motor bike or moped serviced or repaired and we have a great opportunity to evangelize. We are sharing the whole Gospel to these people where as other wise we cant talk to people about Christ as it is illegal.

3. Speaking and music ministry- Rana is doing a small music ministry where we go to Churches and sing for Christ. Simie is gifted in speaking and is using her ability by speaking in seminars for youth and women.

4. Young Mothers Program- Simie had started this program with few young mothers but this program has grown and there are few non-Christian ladies are coming to this program. In India the Christian ladies do not have much outlet except going to Church so this program helps these young ladies to interact and share and discuss their problems and help them grow spiritually.

5. Orphan Children- We did not thought that we will be doing this ministry but God put this ministry right in front of us. We started with 13 orphan kids who are currently staying with a preacher, all these kids are from a non-Christian background but praise God all of them are being raised as Christians.

6. Poor Children- We are also helping some very poor kids. We came across these kids who had no where to go and even if they have a single parent him or her do not want them or they are just being used to beg on the street for income. We are helping 17 of these kids.

7. Cancer outreach- Simie’s aunt Dolly passed away with cancer but she inspired Simie to start this ministry. The women in India suffering from cancer have a hard time as they do not go to visit nor are encouraged, this ministry helps women with cancer to uplift them and have a good time of fellowship and also helps them spiritually.

8. Old peoples ministry- Our team makes sure to visit the old people and help them, we also take fruits and snacks for these people. There is a time of prayer and giving them the time to share their thoughts.

9. Benevolence- We are there to help the disaster victims such as floods, drought, earthquake, fire etc. This year our team helped the Children of the Tsunami victims with their clothes and school supply. We are trying to raise support for the mission work in India.

10. Intercity Church Planting- When Rana and Simie are in the US they are working with one of their friends who studied with Rana at Cincinnati Christian University. We will be helping in intercity Church planting in Cincinnati which will concentrate on the downtown area. We are thankful to God for using us for His glory.

We are trying to raise support for the mission work in India. Please contact us, we will be more than happy to come and present our work to the Church or to the missions committee. We are praying for a Church that could support our work. It would be great if you join hands with us in the mission work in India. Join us in furthering the gospel. We would be grateful if you will kindly consider us to be included in your regular mission budget and strengthen us. Thank you. God bless you. If you need any more information please contact:
